Rebuilding The Economy
Hope For South Africa. For Its People. For Their Businesses.
(Hope Throughout The World.)
Most economies in the world are under serious threat.
South Africa is getting closer and closer to an economic collapse. The economy is visibly shrinking. Less manufacturing and services, less value is created. Less commercial transactions and trade, less growth and much fewer jobs.
If this is not bad enough, the Coronavirus pandemic and the political response to it (an economic calamity) are having a devastating impact on people’s lives. Piling up even more damage to the economy.
There is no more ‘going back to normal’.
We need to do things differently.
A while ago the Western Cape Provincial Government, together with the City of Cape Town as one voice, launched a “Bid to save Cape economy” initiative. It was aimed at inviting all the economic role-players to join forces to address poverty, inequality, and unemployment.
“The UN Secretary-General and 22 private sector leaders discussed concrete ways to create 600 million new jobs by 2025. Almost double the population of the United States.” wrote Caroline Fairchild (New Economy Editor at LinkedIn). “The UN realizes it needs help” she added.
Addressing these unfortunate trends and very serious challenges, on the 16th of May 2018, President Cyril Ramaphosa stated in a TV interview that South Africa needs a ‘New Economic Model’ as the current one fails to deliver those results that our society so desperately needs.
And the calls continue.
Still, no breakthrough has been surfaced.
The reality proves that the ‘Current Economic Model’ is not working.
The economic decline is deepening again and again. Unemployment is skyrocketing. As a result, the economy is increasingly “bleeding”. And not the Governments, but the people of South Africa and their businesses, are in fact “the sacrificial lamb” here. While this has been happening for years, there is still no light at the end of the tunnel.
Let’s look at the facts and see what the Statistics are saying? If we have ‘Money’ on X and ‘Economic Development & Jobs’ on Y the ‘Expected Outcome’ for any economy is linear. In other words, a certain amount of Money (M1) is expected to produce a certain amount of Economic Development & Jobs (EDJ1).
Our society is going downhill.
The need for growth and jobs is beyond any imagination.
And therefore, right now, and right here,
We are challenging the ‘Current Economic Model’ and its catastrophic outcome.
You might ask “But, Liviu, on which grounds are you challenging the ‘Current Economic Model’ that has been in place for ages?
First, on existential-basis, for any business (public or private), attracting new customers and finding better suppliers, is vital. If you don’t do it, slowly but surely, your business will die. Second, on trend-basis, the world we live in is moving from a “financially” driven world to an “opportunity” driven world. (Money creates corruption. Opportunities create growth.) Third, on factual-basis (e.g. investments are not working in sync, they are not sustainable, thus growth and jobs are 100% compromised).
As a result,
And there is no turning point.
Can you compare these two descriptive graphs? Can you see what is happening in reality (the money-based Actual Outcome) and what can be done about it (the opportunity-based Forecasted Outcome)?
“Generating more demand and supply opportunities will certainly lead to economic growth. Economic growth will result in increased employment opportunities. New and meaningful employment opportunities will further boost the economy, and so the cycle continues…
‘New Economic Approach’
tycüne™ Proposal
Rebuilding the economy is not business as usual. To fix the catastrophic economic meltdown, a thorough research indicates that only a viable, all-inclusive, and self-sustainable approach/solution/concept and its sine qua non e-collaborative/e-marketing implementation platform, can do it.
So, in this…
Everyone’s needs count.
Therefore, we call on all the Governments worldwide and on each and every economic role-player from all around the world:
●Let’s build an Internet of Needs™!
(scientific and technological view/perspective)●Let’s build a Breakthrough Marketplace Infrastructure™!
(socioeconomic view/perspective)
The ‘New Economic Approach’ tycüne™ Proposal has purposefully been designed/developed for the South African both, public and private, socioeconomic environments. Nonetheless, the solution/concept/model is portable and well suited for rollout in further afield countries too. In fact wherever growth and jobs are in reality needed.
The implementation process could start right away and not necessarily in South Africa, but in any of those countries where English is the official language and where the Governments instead of carelessly pushing ahead non-working policies on growth, economy and jobs, bend their ears to its people’s and their businesses’ commercial needs.
To conclude,
There is no other viable solution to fix the economy and to create those so desperately needed jobs in South Africa (and in fact worldwide), but the implementation of our ‘New Economic Approach’ tycüne™ Proposal from city to city, province to province, and village to village.
Here you can see how it works:
Everybody will get to know it. The economists will get to know it. The scientists will get to know it. The politicians will get to know it. Even the World Bank and , the African and the European Union and the United Nations, will get to know it. Each and every one will get to know it.
Thus getting the Government on board, is not debatable. It is not even a question, but just a matter of time.
Look inside the iPhone, every core technology was created by the Government. “Without the Government there would be no Apple, no Google, no Facebook”, according to economist Yanis Varoufakis. Undeniably the purpose of any Government is a good one. Unfortunately its extreme politicization has become a chronic embarrassment.
Without targeted accelerating growth through ‘Principled Partner Selection’ and ‘Proactive Relation Management’, governments will have to cope with ever-growing unemployment and inequality, and businesses with an unfortunately shrinking consumer and supplier base.
Mr. President Cyril Ramaphosa,
Mr. Premier Alan Winde,
Let us get the South African National and the Western Cape Provincial Governments on board! Let us rebuild the economy!
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
Ephesians 6:12 NIV
Otherwise and with all due respect, just ask yourselves — “Why don’t you?” Why are you ignoring those desperate calls of millions of people that have no food to put on the table for their families? Why in the world would you miss this unique once-in-a-century opportunity to serve South Africa and bring that so much needed hope to its people, to their businesses?
Everyone can see that regardless of how much investment is brought into the economy, the economic disaster/calamity is spreading like an unstoppable outbreak. In reality money cannot revive any inextricably linked economy. The suffering is growing to the extent of becoming unbearable. We have had enough of these backwards policies.
Mr. President Cyril Ramaphosa,
Mr. Premier Alan Winde,
Your authentic leadership is needed.
There is a saying, “Neurons that fire together wire together”. And therefore would you please join us and together let us build a strong yet resilient market-oriented business environment of demand and supply opportunities capable of playing a meaningful role in enterprise development! Let us support SMMEs where they need it the most, their market expansion! Let us empower people to achieve a sustained economic growth or at least, get a job! Let us win the war against poverty and hunger!
